A Message To Progressive (Liberal) Voters

The Democratic Party is where social movements go to die. It is the home of progressive talk but not progressive action. Socialists hold representative seats in parliaments around the world and truly stand up for and act on these progressive ideas. They of course embrace the ideals of Democratic Socialism, but must work within the framework of a capitalist political economic system. They stand with the most liberal and progressive representatives from other parties to pass good legislation that protects worker’s rights, social security, universal health care, public transportation and renewable energy. Socialists are always opposed to war.
